- All our FUJINON binoculars are covered by the full FUJINON International warranty. It is also true for all accessories and repairs. Upon receipt at our warehouses, the contents of every box are inspected, and the serial number of every pair of binoculars is recorded. The serial number of the Customer's binoculars purchased at marinebinos.com is listed on every waybill.
The box you receive will be sealed with a marinebinos.com sticker.
- General Terms of Sale:
Article 1: Pricing
1.1 Prices for our products are listed in Euros (EUR), including all French taxes (French VAT included) but not of shipping and handling fees (see "Delivery times & costs").
1.2 Deliveries to all other European Union member states are also subject to the VAT at the rate currently in force in the seller's country (Art. 256 - 256 bis General Tax Code).
1.3 For all deliveries to countries other than metropolitan France or other European Union member states, you are the importer of the product or products in question. Customs duties or other local taxes, import duties, or state taxes may be due. AKX-Group - Marine binos will not cover these duties and amounts. It is your responsibility to pay them at your expense, both in terms of declarations and payments to the competent authorities and bodies in your country. We advise you to seek information on these questions from your local authorities.
1.4 AKX-Group - Marine binos reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced at the rates in force at the time the order is recorded.
1.5 All products will remain the property of AKX-Group - Marine binos until payment of the price in full.
Article 2: Order
You may place an order:
- By Internet: The AKX-Group - Marine binos shop. After having placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
- By telephone at 02 98 97 50 50 within metropolitan France or +33 2 98 97 50 50 from abroad.
A detailed invoice will be available via a link on the website under "My account", where you may sign in using your user name and password to print the invoice as needed. AKX-Group - Marine binos reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is an existing dispute concerning payment for a previous order.
Article 3: Confirmation
You must declare that you have acknowledged the present General Terms of Sale before placing your order. Therefore, submission of your order will imply acceptance of these General Terms of Sale.
Article 4: Availability
Our product and price offerings are valid as long as they are displayed on the website, and while supplies last.
Article 5: Delivery
We deliver anywhere around the world.
Products will be delivered to the delivery address that you enter during the order process. The delivery times listed on the "Delivery times and costs" page are typical average delivery times and correspond to the time for shipping preparation plus transport time.
You will be sent an email if there are any shipping delays. In such cases, and as long as the product has not been shipped, you may cancel your order.
For delivery delays after the product has been shipped, you may also cancel your order and request reimbursement for the product as well as return expenses. In such cases, if you have received the product, after your cancellation, we will reimburse you for the product once we have received it in return in its original condition.
We also ask you to regularly track your order and call Customer Service with any questions or problems.
For payment by bankcard, the delivery times listed are average delivery times and correspond to the shipping and transport times (on the "Delivery times and costs" page) for products sent to destinations within metropolitan France.
For payment by check or bank transfer, orders will be processed as soon as the payment has cleared. Therefore, the delivery times applicable in such cases are counted from the date of receipt of the bank confirmation and may therefore be modified in relation to those mentioned on the date the order was placed.
Article 6: Payment
You may pay for your purchases by:
- Bankcard: Carte Bleue, Visa, or MasterCard (Banque CIC secure online payment)
You will need to provide three pieces of information: your 16-digit bank card number, the expiration date, and the security code on the back of the card.

For payments by bank check, all checks must be issued by a bank domiciled in metropolitan France. The check funds will be collected upon receipt.
Article 7: Security
AKX-group - Marine binos guarantees risk free purchases that you can trust. For your security, all data exchanged are encrypted during transactions.
Banque CIC uses SSL technology to guarantee secure transactions for bankcard payments. Paying for your purchases by "CIC Payment" does not add any additional fees.
Article 8: Money Back Guarantee
You have the right to return items to us without justification within seven (7) days of receipt, as provided by law.
You will be responsible for return costs and only the price of the product or products will be reimbursed within 30 days. Products must be returned in their original condition accompanied by a copy of the invoice.

Items returned incomplete, broken, damaged, or soiled by the customer will not be accepted.
Article 9: Product conformity
We agree to reimburse you or replace any products that appear to be defective, broken, or damaged, or that do not match your order. In such cases, please provide us with a detailed written description and return the product or products to us. AKX-Group - Marine binos will then replace the products or reimburse you for them subject to verification by Fujinon International After-Sales Service. Requests must be made within fifteen working days after delivery. No claims made after this deadline will be accepted.
You will be reimbursed for shipping fees based on the rate invoiced, and you will be reimbursed for return costs as well. In all cases, you will be covered by statutory warranty provisions, in particular those concerning latent defects. The provisions in this article do not prevent you from exercising the right to return (money-back guarantee)
set out in article 8.
Article 10: Reimbursement
Reimbursement for products under the cases listed in articles 8 and 9 will be made within fifteen (15) days after we receive the returned product, provided that the product is endorsed by Fujinon After-Sales Service within that same time period.
At its discretion, AKX-Group - Marine binos will reimburse by crediting your bank account or by bank check sent to the name of the customer who placed the order at the billing address. No cash-on-delivery shipments will be accepted for any reason whatsoever.

The products offered comply with current French legislation. AKX-Group Marine binos may not be held liable for failure to comply with legislation in countries to which the products are delivered. The present contract is subject to French law. The language of the present contract is French. All disputes will fall under the sole jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Quimper, solely competent regardless of the shipping destination.
